The industry has failed re-use more than 50% treated trade effluent back in the process as per the special condition of earlier granted consent. At present, the industry is utilizing only 300-350 KLD of treated effluent back in the process out of 2000-2500 KLD of treated effluent generated at the outlet of the ETP</span>. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Also, the progress w.r.t. installation of ZLD system by the industry is unsatisfactory, as it has not placed order for installation of ZLD system for compliance of Govt. of Punjab notification dated 10.10.2019.</span></p>
