<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">The industry was asked to deposit bank guarantee of Rs. 10 Lacs. The industry has submitted request that Environmental Compensation of Rs. 50,000/- has already been imposed upon the industry in this matter (for discharging untreated domestic effluent into borewell) and the industry has deposited the same vide R.No. 07/5480 dated 03.08.2022, thus condition of bank guarantee of Rs. 10 Lacs shall be waived off.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">As the industry has already deposited environmental compensation for discharging untreated domestic effluent into borewell and thereafter ‘Consent to operate’ under the Water Act, 1974 was also granted for six months alongwith restoration of electricity supply for six months, the request of industry to waive of bank guarantee may be considered. Moreover, the industry is a dry rice sheller unit and there is no generation of trade effluent and only domestic effluent is generated and the same is now discharged onto land for plantation after treatment through septic tanks. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
