<p class="Default" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;">It is intimated that the unit is a small scale orange category Water Park and marriage palace<span style="background: white;">, which was granted consent under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no.</span> <span style="background: white;">CTOW/Renewal/LDH3/2022/19846064 dated 12.10.2022 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH3/2022/19846067 dated 12.10.2022 for </span>Amusement park, Water Park, Restaurant and Marriage Palace<span style="background: white;"> with the disposal of domestic effluent @ 20.0 KLD onto land for plantation after treatment through STP, Both are valid upto 11.04.2023.</span> Further the directions u/s 33-A of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 were issued to the PSPCL authorities to restore the electric connection of the unit temporarily upto 11.04.2023 vide Board’s letter no. 6263 dated 12.10.2022.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Now, the unit has applied for renewal consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 <span style="background: white;">for Amusement park, Water Park, restaurant and marriage Palace with the disposal of domestic effluent @ 20.0 KLD onto land for plantation after treatment through STP. </span>The unit had already deposited Rs. 58,800/- vide UTR. no. 26480283901DC dated 24.02.2022 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 58,800/- vide UTR. no. 26480252221DC dated 24.02.2022 under Air Act, 1981. Rs. 9600/- vide UTR. no. 31512101711DC dated 16.03.2023 under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 2900/- vide UTR no. 31512080831DC dated 16.03.2023 as NOC fee and Rs. 9600/- vide UTR. no. 31512091791DC dated 16.03.2023 under Air Act, 1981, Adequate upto 31.03.2026. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was visited by AEE of this office on 04.04.2023 and observed that:-</span></p>
<p class="Default" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry is a water park and a marriage palace. During the visit amusement park and restaurant was in operation.</p>
<p class="Default" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The unit has provided one small restaurant and having kitchen with hooding arrangements with adequate stack leading to the roof top.</p>
<p class="Default" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The unit has also provided one marriage palace of gathering capacity of 300 persons. During the visit no function was going on in the marriage palace.</p>
<p class="Default" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The project proponent has installed STP comprises of settling tanks cum oil and grease trap, aeration arrangement, tube settler, pre-filtration tank, dual media filters and outlet for the treatment of effluent generated from the premises. During the visit no effluent was being discharged through ETP as there was no generation of effluent as no function was going on.</p>
<p class="Default" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: windowtext;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="color: windowtext;">Earlier effluent sample was collected from the outlet of ETP/STP on 14.09.2022 and the same was sent to the Board’s lab for analysis. As per the results received from the lab, the results of various parameters are as under:-<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>pH=7.0, TSS mg/l=42, TDS mg/l= 400, COD mg/l= 156, BOD mg/l=29 and O&G mg/l=6.2. As per the analysis report, all the parameters were found within the limits prescribed by the Board. </span></p>
<p class="Default" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has provided lawn / parks having total area more than 01 acre to tackle treated effluent of 20 KLD, which is adequate. Presently no stagnation was observed in the plantation area.</p>
<p class="Default" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The unit has installed 02 DG sets of capacities 125 KVA each with canopy inside the premises.</p>
<p class="Default" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 3.0pt; line-height: 150%;"> </span></p>
<p class="Default" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of the above, it is recommended that:-</p>
<p class="Default" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: windowtext;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->Renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for further six months with usual conditions.</p>
<p class="Default" style="margin-left: .5in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; color: windowtext;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The directions u/s 33-A of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be issued to restore the electric connection of the industry temporarily for further six months.</p> |
