<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Earlier the industry was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 No. CTOW/Renewal/JAL/2017/4866799 dated 28.02.2017 valid upto 30.06.2021 and No. CTOA/Renewal/JAL/2017/4852498 dated 14.03.2017 valid upto 30.06.2021. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has deposited Rs. 36,000/- Vide R/No. CLBLN21167003452 dated 17.06.2021 and Rs. 14,400/- vide R No. CLBLN23087605074 dated 28.03.2023 under Water Act 1974 and Rs. 36,000/- vide R No. CLBLN21167003460 and Rs. 14,400/- vide R No. CLBLN23087604352 dated 28.03.2023 under Air Act, 1981, Rs. 2200/- vide R no. CLBLN21167003472 dated 17.06.2021 as NOC fees, which is adequate upto 30.06.2026.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry was visited by officer of this office <span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">on 29.03.2023 </span>and it was observed that the industry was in operation during visit and is engaged in manufacturing of pipe fitting items. The industry has installed 1 no. induction furnace of capacity 500 kg/heat with wet scrubber as APCD and adequate stack height. The industry has installed 2 no. coal fired galvanizing furnaces with stack stacks, 1 no shot blast machine with bag house as APCD and adequate stack height. There is no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. The industry has not installed any D.G set in its premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2026 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board please.</span></p> |
