<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">It is submitted that earlier Show Cause Notice was issued to the industry vide Board’s letter no. 1218 dated 16.02.2023. The industry was visited by AEE of this office on 15/03/2023 and during visit, it was observed that the industry has provided separate storage room for the hazardous waste categories, photo enclosed herewith. The industry has also made an agreement with MS Polymer for the disposal of paint sludge and also made an agreement with M/s Surya chemicals for the disposal of empty container. Copy of the same are enclosed herewith for your kind perusal. The industry has also get air emission of analysis report from the approved lab M/s Environ Tech Laboratory for the shot blasting furnace (PM = 58.8 mg/Nm3 against 150 mg/Nm3), powder coating process (PM = 36.8 mg/Nm3 against 150 mg/Nm3), and process stack emission (PM = 41.5 mg/Nm3 against 150 mg/Nm3) respectively. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As per the analysis report, the concentrations of the parameter were found within the permissible limit.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">It is further submitted that the industry was telephonically contacted many time to submit the report of increase of fixed assets alongwith proper detail but the industry has failed to submit the year wise certificate till date.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that action under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 alongwith opportunity of personal hearing before the Competent Authority of the Board due to non-submission of year wise CA certificate to adjudge the consent fees and failed to apply for authorization under Hazardous & other Waste (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016.</p> |
