<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The kiln has been already granted consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH4/2022/18267140 dated 21.04.2022, which is valid up to 30.09.2024 for operation of brick kiln with natural draft technology to manufacture Bricks & Tiles @ 40000 Number/day, subject to the conditions mentioned therein.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Now, the Brick kiln has again applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS for the purpose to change the ownership name from partnership name. The brick kiln has already deposited consent fee of amounting to Rs. 10800/- vide UTR no. BKIDN22040786490 dated 09.02.2022 & Rs. 7200/- vide UTR. no. BKIDO22075216321 dated 16.03.2022 under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Rs. 1800/- vide UTR. No. BKIDN22040786887 dated 09.02.2022 under the NOC regularization fees which is adequate up to 30.09.2024 & Rs. 29000/- vide UTR no. SBIN421085203576 dated 26.03.2021 & Rs. 7200/- Vide UTR No. BKIDO22075217829 dated 16.03.2022 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Rs. 1800/- vide UTR No. P354210143578221 dated 20.12.2021 is NOC regularization fees which is adequate upto 01.11.2035. The brick has already submitted required documents along with its application.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The application is scrutinized and processed on the basis of documents submitted by BKO which are as under:</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">1.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The Brick kiln has converted its kiln to zig-zag technology as per design of PSCST dated 26.02.2020. The PSCST has issued completion certificate dated 26.02.2020.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">2.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>No trade effluent is generated by the brick kiln and domestic effluent is discharge onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">3.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The brick kiln has submitted DTP letter which states that the BKO is located in local Planning area of Ahemdgarh and brick kiln is allowed to operate in this location.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">4.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The kiln is complying with the code of practice prescribed by the Board for the brick kin in the state and directions issued by Govt./PPCB from time to time. The kiln is also complying with the recommendations given by the CBIR, Roorkee in the feasibility report for adopting operating practice as well as fuel feeding practice.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The brick kiln is complying with the provisions of Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">In view of above, it is recommended that the renewal of consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the Brick Kiln up to 30.09.2024 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.</p> |
