Further, the industry has already submitted approval of building plan issued vide no. PBIP/STP(HUD)/2022/444 dated 23.08.2022 by STP, Department of Housing & Urban Development, Govt. of Punjab for area measuring 40 kanal 0 marle (5 acres) land having khasra no. 15//15(6-3), 14//11(8-0), 14//12(8-0), 14//13 min (5-0) 14//18 min (3-3), 14//19 min (5-0), 14//20 min (4-14). Moreover, it has submitted report of Tehsildar, Samana issued vide letter dated 02.11.2022 in which it was mentioned that no lal lakir/phirni, MC Limit, residential colony, 15 pucca houses was observed within the 100 m from the proposed site having khasra no. 15//15(6-3), 14//11(8-0), 14//12(8-0), 14//13 min (5-0) 14//18 min (3-3), 14//19 min (5-0), 14//20 min (4-14).This alone suffices as reply of observation point no. 1.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">Also, the industry has already submitted feasibility report from M/s Draft Air Pvt. Ltd. mentioning that 3 nos. rotary air filters shall be installed for control of emissions from the industry and the details of machinery to be installed has been mentioned in the said feasibility report wherein it has proposal for installation of 1 no. blowroom, 16 no. Card LC-361 M/c, Drawframe-LDF-3 9 no. M/c, Open End 10 no. M/c. This suffices as reply of observation point no. 2 & 3.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">The industry has proposed to discharge domestic effluent @ 5.5 KLD after passing through septic tank onto land for plantation to be developed within premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">In regard to observation point no. 4, 5 & 6, the following conditions can be imposed to the industry:</span></p>

The biodegradable component shall be treated by providing compost pits of adequate capacity to produce compost, which will be disposed of/reused in an environmentally sound manner and the non-biodegradable solid waste shall also be disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.</span></span></p>

The Board would be at liberty to take penal action against the industry and its responsible/ concerned person(s) in case information/document is detected as incorrect/false/misleading at any point of time.</span></p>
