<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN">Earlier the industry was visited by officer of the Board on 14.09.2018 and during the visit effluent sample was collected, as per analysis report, various parameters are beyond the prescribed limits and the blower installed in front of the hoods were also not in operation due to which there was no collection of fumes in the wet scrubber and fumes were scattered in the working area causing suffocation.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Due to non functional emission collection, scrubbing and suction system in the pickling section, air emission sample could not be collected. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN">Accordingly, the industry was given personal hearing before the worthy Chairman of the Board on 16.07.2019, wherein it was decided that the industry shall submit bank guarantee of Rs. 2.5 lacs as an assurance to comply with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. </span></p>
