<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The industry was visited by AEE of RO on 15.03.2023 and it was observed as under:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The project proponent has developed a logistic park for receiving various kinds of goods from international as well as domestic markets.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->The Project proponent has provided STP @10 KLD for treatment and disposal of effluent from office and admin section. During visit the STP was not in operation and untreated effluent was lying collected in the collection tank. The physical condition of the STP reveals that it is not being operated regularly.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. <!--[endif]-->The project proponent failed to show the record of STP operation and energy meter readings.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4. <!--[endif]-->It is further informed that industry has earlier submitted C.A certificate dated 02.02.2022 in earlier application mentioning the value of plant & machinery as Rs. 6025.75 lacs and now the industry has submitted value of plant & machinery in C.A certificate dated 27.01.2023 as Rs. 296.55 lacs. From the above, it is doubtful that industry has submitted revised certificate in order to comes under small scale category. The last consent application was approved by the Hon'ble Chairman of the Board.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5. <!--[endif]-->The industry failed to show any agreement for disposal of Municipal Solid Waste. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->6. <!--[endif]-->The logistic park has been granted CLU from PBIP, Punjab letter no. PBIP/CAPA(HUD)/2018/1087 dated 25.04.2018</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of above, it is recommended that show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be issued to the project proponent with opportunity of the personal Hearing before the Competent Authority of the Board.</p>
