<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is submitted that the project proponent was earlier granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Varied/SAS/2022/19257212 dated 16/08/2022 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Varied/SAS/2022/17448882 dated 14/03/2022 both were valid upto 31/03/2023 for Repair Service of Cars @ 60 Numbers/Day, subject to certain conditions as mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the project proponent has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, with same capacity. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent had earlier deposited Rs. 1,08,500/- vide UTR no. SBIN322193426458 dated 12.07.2022 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. The fee is adequate till 31.07.2026 after deduction of NOC regularization fee and late fee, against the cost of the fixed assets of Rs. 13.93 crore as on 31.12.2021.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry had earlier deposited Consent to Operate fee amounting to Rs. 1,40,000/-. (Rs. 1,08,000/- vide R. No. 24/4862 dated 29.07.2019 and Rs. 32,400/- vide R. no. 845034466 dated 23.12.2019) under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 which was valid till 28.02.2024. However after deduction of NOC regularization charges and Consent to operate regularization charges due to change in slab, the Consent to Operate fee is adequate till 31.05.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The project proponent has now submitted its CA certificate mentioning the reduction of cost of the fixed assets from Rs. 1393.74 lakhs to Rs. 1184.9 lakh as on 31/03/2022 due to Shimla office building not included and copy of the same is attached below. The project proponent has deposited Rs. 22,100/- vide online UTR no. SBIN123044470722 dated 13/02/2023 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 86,400/- vide online UTR no. SBIN123044472718 dated 13/02/2023 under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The consent fee deposited by the industry under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 is adequate upto 31/03/2027 and adequate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 upto 31/05/2027.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 12.0pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted its effluent and air emission sample got analyzed by M/s Chandigarh Pollution Testing Laboratory, which is reproduced as under:</span></p>

The industry has installed water meter on the inlet line of effluent and reading was noted as 1446.67 m3. The industry has installed newly water meter at the final outlet of ETP and reading was noted as 10.92 m3. The industry has treated effluent at 5-7 KLD on daily basis. The entire treated effluent is being recycled for washing of vehicles.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; margin: 5.0pt .25in 5.0pt 76.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">The industry has installed one DG set of capacity 250 KVA and same was equipped with canopy and adequate height. The industry is maintaining the record properly.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30/09/2026, subject to suitable conditions and additional conditions that:</span></p>
