<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 50.65pt; margin: 0in 4.9pt .0001pt 14.35pt;">Earlier the industry was granted consent to establish(NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Fresh/LDH1/2022/18643000 dated 20.05.2022 valid upto 19.05.2023 for setting up a unit at village Rajour, tehsil Kum-Kalan, Ludhiana for processing of DYEING OF CLOTH @ 2000 Kgs/day.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 50.65pt; margin: 0in 4.9pt .0001pt 14.35pt;">Now the industry has applied for extension in the validity of consent to established (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, mentioning that due to unavoidable circumstances they were not able to execute the project timely and has requested to extend their NOC for further one year.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 50.65pt; margin: 0in 4.9pt .0001pt 14.35pt;">The industry has deposited Rs. 10800/- vide fee.no. CBINH23086167760 dated 27.03.2023 as NOC fee, which is adequate for further two years.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 50.65pt; margin: 0in 4.9pt .0001pt 14.35pt;">The site was visited by undersigned and observed that the project proponent has started construction work and around 20% civil construction work has been completed. No machinery has been installed by the project proponent, nor any proposed machinery was available at site.</p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; margin: 0in 5.15pt .0001pt 58.5pt;"> Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that extension in the validity of Consent to Establish (NOC) under<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the project proponent for one year i.e. upto 31.05.2024 with same terms and conditions.</p>
