The industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 under orange category. The industry has deposited Rs.29000/- vide UTR.No. IBKL230309416675 dated 09.03.2023 and under Water Act 1974 and Rs. 5000/- vide R.No. 72/5484 dated 06.04.2023 as VDS fee, Rs.34000/- (Including Rs. 2900 as NOC fee Rs. 1600/- as balance fee and Rs. 500/- as application form fee) vide UTR.No. IBKL230309417153 dated 09.03.2023 under Air Act, 1981 and Rs. 5000/- vide R.No. 73/5484 dated 06.04.2023 as VDS fee which is adequate upto 30.06.2028.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 115%; margin: 0cm 0cm 6.0pt 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry was visited by officer of this office on 29.03.2023 and it was observed that the industry was in operation during visit and is engaged in manufacturing of rubber chappals and sheets. The industry has installed 1 no. baby boiler of capacity 400 kgs/day with cyclone separator as APCD and with adequate stack height. The industry has not installed any D.G set inside its premises. There is no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. The industry has submitted building plan from approved architect from Director of Factories, Punjab.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 115%; margin: 0cm 0cm 6.0pt 0cm;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2028 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
