<p style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';">The industry was earlier granted consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 vide no. R13MOGCTOW474358 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. R13MOGCTOA474321 dated 05.09.2013 for manufacturing of Battery plates @ 3000 pcs/day & batteries @ 25 pcs/day, valid for a period upto 30.06.2018, subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Thereafter, the industry was issued SCN for revocation of CTO granted under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 with personal hearing before SEE(ZO-BTI) on 13.02.2018 wherein it was decided that EE, RO, FDK will visit the industry to verify the facts and submit his report/recommendations within 15 days positively.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>Further, the industry was visited by then AEE alongwith JSO of the Board on 15.10.2020to collect the emission sample and as per the analysis results from the Head Office lab, the concentration of SPM was found to be 17 mg/Nm3 against prescribed standards of 25 mg/Nm3.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>Thereafter, the industry has applied renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981, which were returned by the Competent Authority as the industry creates duplicate OCMMS id.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>The industry has now again applied for renewal in validity of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>The industry was visited by RO, Fdk on 06.03.2023 and it was reported that:-</span></p>

<p style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>The industry has submitted land lease deed executed between M/s Shubham Power Pack Batteries and M/s Shubham Power Pack Products.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>If approved, the industry may be granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 for a period upto 30.06.2028 with usual conditions alongwith the following special conditions:-</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; background: white; margin: 0in 0in 5.0pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-family: Verdana;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';">The industry shall obtain registration under EPR for Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022, within 2 months.</span></p>

<p style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Verdana; mso-bidi-font-family: Verdana;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif';">The industry shall submit its operational schedule to the Board within 15 days and will get the air emission samples analyzed from the Board's lab, within one month.</span></p>
