CTOW/Renewal/LDHKH/2022/18453823 dated 17/05/2022 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDHKH/2022/18453816 dated 17/05/2022 both valid upto 31/03/2023 for the manufacturing of Crumb Powder @ 73400 Mt/Year with special conditions as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">As per the original consent following special conditions were imposed:</span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">In compliance to the above, the subject cited industry has obtained permission from MoEFCC letter no. 23/111/2022-HSMD dated 30.08.2022 for import of 1500 MT of used rubber tyres scrap (B-3140) for manufacturing of crumb rubber, which is valid for 18 months or till the validity of 'consent to operate' and authorization issued by PPCB. </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">Now, the subject cited industry has applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 with requisite documents. </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; letter-spacing: .05pt; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The industry has deposited </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Rs. 14500/- vide e-R No. 593750177 dated 22/03/2023 as Water consent fee and Rs. 15000/- vide e-R No. 59075910 dated 22/03/2023 as Air consent fee <span style="background: white;">against the un-depreciated fixed assets of Rs. 49.42 Lacs as per CA certificate dated 04/03/2023, which is adequate </span><strong>upto 30/09/2028</strong> under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981, as per Board's Office Order dated 29/10/2018<span style="background: white;">. There is no increase in pollution load and production capacity.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-bottom: 12.0pt; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; background: white;">The industry was visited by the AEE of this office <strong>on 29.03.2023</strong> and during visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>

China wherein, it has been mentioned that “M/s Saffron Rubber, D-64, Focal Point, Khanna, Distt. Ludhiana (Punjab), have setup a crumb rubber powder manufacturing unit at this site.
