Sir, It is submitted as under:- 1)     The industry is not engaged in manufacturing of plastic containers. Plastic containers are being manufactured in another unit M/s Krishna Plastic Industry, Kotkapura Road, Faridkot from virgin plastic granules. 2)     The industry has submitted an undertaking which states that the industry has installed an ETP of capacity 5 KLD on the basis of batch treatment as generation of trade effluent from its process is a non-uniform and irregular process. Hence, biological treatment of effluent is not feasible as bacteria could not be maintained / survived in the absence of effluent. 3)     The common ETP is installed in the premises of M/s Darshan Gera Gram Udyog Samiti. The industry has submitted a mutual agreement, which is reproduced as under:- "It is certified that I Surinder Gera S/o Gela Ram Gera, president of M/s Darshan Gera Gram Udyog Samiti certified that ETP of capacity 5 KLD installed in our premises is of sufficient capacity to handle the combine effluent load of M/s Darshan Gera Gram Udyog Samiti  and M/s Gela Ram Prem Kumar, Kotkapura, Faridkot. Hence, effluent generated from the premises of M/s Gela Ram Prem Kumar will be treated in the common ETP and M/s Darshan Gera Gram Udyog will be responsible for day to day functioning of ETP and to achieve the prescribed standards of the Board. " 4)     The industry has provided a permanent arrangement for carrying treated trade effluent after ETP to a separate overhead tank for reuse of treated effluent for flushing purpose and cleaning of floor etc. No treated trade effluent is being discharge onto land for plantation. 5)     The industry has submitted that that M/s Gela Ram Prem Kumar is engaged only in manufacturing of Achar, Murabba, Sharbat and vinegar from various fruits and vegetables and 4 % of acetic acid is used for manufacturing of vinegar. No tomato ketchup is being manufactured in said unit.   6)     No boiler is installed in the said unit however a wood fired baby boiler has been provided in the premises of M/s Darshan Gera Gram Udyog Samiti.   Submitted for approval as proposed earlier please.
