<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was granted varied 'consent to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Varied/RPN/2022/18206805 dated 18.05.2022 valid upto 31.03.2023 for servicing and washing of automobiles @ 8 no./day, alongwith trade effluent @ 1 KLD to be treated in the ETP and domestic effluent @ 0.7 KLD to be treated in Septic tank and the treated wastewater to be disposed of plantation after treatment, subject to the conditions mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was granted varied 'consent to operate' under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Varied/RPN/2022/18206818 dated 18.05.2022 valid upto 31.03.2023 for servicing and washing of automobiles @ 8 no./day, subject to conditions mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now the industry has applied for renewal of 'consent to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. It has submitted the copy of site plan, compliance report of previous consents, partnership deed, working process chart, CA Certificate dated 09.01.2023 for fixed assets of Rs. 31.14 lacs as on 31.03.2022. The industry already had deposited the consent fees adequate upto 30.09.2026. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">No show cause notice is pending against the industry.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">In view of above, if approved, Zonal Office may be recommended that the industry may be granted renewal of 'consent to operate' under the Water and Air Act, upto 30.09.2026, subject to the suitable conditions. </span></p> |
