The industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention &<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS of the Board for manufacturing of nut and bolts. The industry has deposited Rs. 29000/- Vide UTR/No. N083232385065368 dated 24.03.2023 under Water Act 1974, Rs. 29000/- Vide UTR/No. N083232385096525 dated 24.03.2023 under Air Act, 1981, Rs. 5000/- vide UTR No. N083232385098732 dated 24.03.2023 as VDS fee and Rs. 3400/- (including Rs. 500/- as application form fee) vide UTR No. N083232385092968 dated 24.03.2023 as NOC fee which is adequate upto 30.09.2028<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry has submitted electricity bill as proof of date of commissioning, according to which the industry is commissioned on 01.06.2015.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: .1pt 6.7pt .0001pt 46.0pt;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>industry was visited by officer of this office on 06.04.2023 and it was observed that the industry was in<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>operation and is engaged in manufacturing of nut and bolts. The industry has installed 07 nos. cold forging headers at site. The industry has not installed any D.G set in its premises. There is no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. The industry has submitted building plan approved from Director of Factories, Punjab. The industry has applied under VDS scheme but has not submitted area classification certificate from competent authority.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin-right: 7.1pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif'; mso-hansi-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span></strong>Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2028 with special condition that the industry shall submit area classification certificate from competent authority within 01 month.
