CTOW/Renewal/RPN/2022/17833287 dated 25/02/2022 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/RPN/2021/16170518 dated 25/02/2022, both are valid upto 30/09/2023 for operation of Stone crusher and screening cum washing plant @ 1800 CFT/day subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein in the name of Sh. Vishal Mittal, Partner.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 72pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining varied 'consent to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 in the name of Sh. Inderjit Singh, Partner </span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">(with change of proprietor ship documents i.e. Partnership Deed Admission-cum-Retirement) for operation of Crushing, Screening & Washing of aggregates @ 12,000 CFT/Day </span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">along with compliance of previous consent conditions granted to the unit, distance certificate from Revenue Authority, CLU, Authorized signatory, feasibility report, project report, undertaking regarding code of practice & legal mining, mining slips <strong>(attached alongwith)</strong> and consent fee. The unit has also submitted the CA certificate wherein the value of fixed assets of the unit as on 28.02.2023 is of Rs. 72.30 Lakhs with the value of plant and machinery of Rs. 53.80 lakhs.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 72pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The unit has also submitted the Partnership Deed Admission-cum-Retirement dated 07.07.2022, wherein, it has mentioned that Sh. Guradeshwar Singh Mann, Sh. Anitpal Singh, Sh. Jatinder Pal Singh Dhillon, Sh. Harnek Singh, Sh. Ashok Kumar, Sh. Sukhbir Singh Jakhar, Sh. Sagar Kamboj and Sh. Sukhchain Singh have been admitted to the firm with Sh. Inderjit Singh as a continuing partner and Sh. Vishal Mittal, Sh. Kamaljit Singh & Sh. Nardev Singh Mann have been retired from the firm. As per the authorized signatory letter, Sh. Inderjit Singh is the authorized signatory of the firm.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 72pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">As per the record file, the unit has already deposited consent to operate fee under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 which was adequate upto 30.04.2028. Now, the unit has deposited additional fee amounting to Rs. 3600/- vide R. No. 796303919 dated 30.03.2023, Rs. 3600/- vide R. No. 835201046 dated 30.03.2023 </span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">on account of Water & Air consent fee respectively and Rs. 2900/- </span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">vide R. No. 796303919 dated 30.03.2023 as NOC regularization fee for change in cost of assets. As such, the fee deposited by the unit is adequate upto 31.03.2028 as per circular dated 29.10.2018.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 76.5pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">It is pertinent to mention here that the unit has submitted the slips of obtaining raw material from HP, verified by O/o Executive Engineer-cum-District Mining, Drainage cum Mining Division, Sri Anandpur Sahib dated 01.04.2023 regarding obtaining raw material from Himachal Pradesh through check post Khera Kalmot.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">Further, the unit was visited by the AEE of this office on 10.04.2023 and Sh. Inderjit Singh, partner was contacted. During visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 5.95pt 5.7pt 6pt 5pt; text-indent: 67pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">From above, it is clear that the stone crusher-cum-screening & washing plant has carried out expansion in the existing site for which the CLU has already been granted after obtaining requisite distance report from the revenue authority.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="margin: 5.95pt 5.7pt 6pt 5pt; text-indent: 67pt; line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The unit has carried out expansion by installation of higher capacity machinery (02 no. Jaws) along with addition of 01 no. Rotapactor and 01 no. Screener. As such, the unit is complying with the siting criteria prescribed for such units and code of practice stipulated for such units and with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 12pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">In view of the above facts and letter issued by the Executive Engineer, Deptt. of Irrigation-cum-Mining, Sri Anandpur Sahib and e-mail received from Executive Engineer, Deptt. of Irrigation-cum-Mining, Rupnagar and raw material mining slips, verified by their office, if approved, it is recommended that varied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for a short period</span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">upto 30.09.2024</span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';"> <span lang="EN-US">due to non-availability of carrying capacity issued by the Mining Department</span></span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';"> and considering orange category culminating period, subject to the suitable conditions and additional conditions as under:</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 16.8667px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The industry shall inform the Board in writing as and when any change is occurred in the Partnership Deed / Proprietorship / Memorandum of Article of Association, especially with regard to the name and address of the Partner / Proprietor / Director / Subscriber etc, and in any case the industry fails to do so and later on it comes to the notice of the Board that there is any change in Partnership Deed / Proprietorship / Memorandum of Article of Association, action as deem fit under the provision of said Act shall be taken.</span></p> |
