<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry is a small scale orange category unit & was earlier granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 both valid upto 21.05.2023. Now the industry has applied for renewal of consents through OCMMS.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As per agenda note the industry was visited by officer on 29.03.2023 and it was observed that the industry was in operation during visit. There is no source of trade effluent generation and only domestic effluent is discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank. The industry has developed 2 no. lawns within the premises near the main gate having total area under lawns/plantation approx. 300 sq.yard. The industry has already submitted approved building plan from competent person under Factories Act, Punjab. The industry has already submitted permission of change of land use for industry from STP Jalandhar vide letter No. 1682 dated 05.08.2016.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Keeping in view of report of Regional Office, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2028 with usual conditions & with special conditions that:-</span></p>
