<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">It is intimated that the undersigned is regularly pursuing the small scale industries and their associations to obtain consent to operate to install adequate pollution control devices and then apply and obtain the consent to operate under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. Also, notices are regularly issued to the industries which have not obtained consents from the Board. Due to this a large number of industries have been applying to obtain consents of the Board thereby also contributing to the revenue of the Board. Hence, back log of large number of applications have been created. Since, the Board has adopted a investor friendly policy of giving regulatory clearances in a specific time frame and undersigned is taking full care to adhere with these timelines and decide the applications within the given time frame and also to clear the back log, because of this some over sight might have been happened un-intentionally while dealing with the application. But nonetheless the NOC fee has been deposited by the industry and it has only added CNC machines which does not contribute to any Air or Water pollution.</p> |
