<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 30.0pt; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 18.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry is a large scale red category unit and was earlier granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 both valid upto 31.03.2023 for Manufacturing of Steel Wire @ 100 MTD and Wire Road @ 35 MTD from Raw Material Wire Road @ 140 MTD, Hydraulic Acid @ 0.8 MTD, Zinc @ 0.66 MTD, Sulphuric Acid @ 1.5 MTD. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 30.0pt; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 18.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consents through OCMMS. As per agenda note the industry was visited by officers on 14.03.2023 and observed that industry was in operation. The industry is engaged in the manufacturing of steel wire and wire ropes. The industry has installed pickling furnace and furnace with wet scrubbers and stack height provided. The industry has installed DG Set of capacity @ 500 KVA with canopy and stack height. The air emission sampling was lastly collected from the stack of pickling section on 08.03.2022 and the concentration of Acid mist was found to be ND mg/Nm3, which is within limits.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry was earlier given hearing before Chairman of the Board on 16.07.2019, wherein it was decided that the industry shall submit bank guarantee of Rs. 2.5 lac as an assurance to comply with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The industry has submitted the bank guarantee of Rs. 2.5 lacs but the same has been expired on 31.12.2021.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of report of Regional Office, it is recommended that consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 may be the granted to the industry upto 31.03.2024 (for monitoring purpose) with usual conditions & special conditions that:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial; color: black; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry will submit air emission sample analysis report of the furnace analyzed by the Board’s lab within 03 months.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall not use any un-authorized fuel and shall use fuel only for which consent is granted by the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall ensure that hazardous wastes of all categories are collected properly & disposed off to the authorized companies by executing agreements and shall maintain all the records as per provisions of the HWM Rules.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">8)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises.</span></p>
