Annealing furnaces with adequate stack height, 2 nos.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>galvanizing furnaces with adequate stack height, 2 no. shot blast machine<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>with bag house filter as APCD and 02 no DG sets of capacity 1500 KVA and 125 KVA with canopies.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"> </span><span style="font-size: 11pt;"> </span><span style="font-size: 11pt;">Now the industry has applied for varied consent under Water Act 1974 and Air Act 1981 through OCMMS for manufacturing of Pipe Fitting & Castings @ 7 MTD by using Pig Iron and Scrap @ 7.2 MTD by installing 1 no. induction furnace of capacity 0.500 TPH with bag house filter as APCD, 2 no. galvanizing furnaces with adequate stack height, 2 no. shot blast machine with bag house filter as APCD and 01 no. DG set of capacity 125 KVA with canopy.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As per agenda note the industry was visited by the officer on 29.03.2023 and observed that the industry was in operation and is engaged in the manufacturing of Pipe Fitting & Castings.The industry has installed 1 no. induction furnace of capacity 500 kg/heat with bag house filter as APCD and adequate stack height. The industry has submitted analysis report from SIMA lab dated 07.03.2023 and SPM level is 80.6 mg/Nm3 which is within the prescribed limit of the Board. The industry has installed 2 no.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>shot blasting machine<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>with common inbuilt bag house filter as APCD and adequate stack height. The industry has installed 2 no. coal fired galvanizing furnace with hood and adequate stack height. The industry has now replaced 4 no. annealing furnaces with 1 no. electric annealing Oven. The industry has installed 1 no. D.G sets of capacity 125 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span> The industry has already submitted classification of area issued from DTP Jalandhar vide letter No. 2270 dated 07.09.2010 in which it is mentioned that the site of the industry falls in General Industrial Zone as per Master Plan 2009-2031.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Keeping in view of report of Regional Office, it is recommended that the varied consent to operate under Air Act 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.6.2028 with usual conditions & special conditions that:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="text-indent: -18pt; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;">1)<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="text-indent: -18pt; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall operate air pollution control device (APCD) regularly and efficiently to achieve the prescribed norms.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; line-height: normal; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial; color: black; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry will submit air emission sample analysis report of the furnace analyzed by the Board’s lab within 03 months.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall not use any un-authorized fuel and shall use fuel only for which consent is granted by the Board.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall ensure that hazardous wastes of all categories are collected properly & disposed off to the authorized companies by executing agreements and shall maintain all the records as per provisions of the HWM Rules.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall not throw burn or burry any solid wastes in open outside premises or in drain / water bodies.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">8)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">9)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises. </span></p>
