<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Kindly find attached the detailed inspection report along with agenda note. Further observations are as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Earlier, the hotel was granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">CTOA/Renewal/ASR/2022/18368039 dated 25/05/2022 </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">and under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/ASR/2022/18368238 dated 20/05/2022</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">, which were valid up to 31/03/2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span> </span>Now, the hotel has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 along with Compliance of the previous granted consents in annotated form along with latest CA Certificate.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The hotel was visited by AEE of this office on 10/04/2023 and observed as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">1. The hotel was in operation. The restaurant, bar, coffee shop and banquet halls are now opened. Only few rooms were occupied.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">2. During visit the STP installed by the hotel was also in operation. The hotel is partially reusing it its treated effluent for cooling purposes, flushing purposes and partially onto land for plantation.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">3. The hotel has submitted effluent analysis report from Farelabs Pvt. Ltd., Gurugram, Haryana. As per analysis report, issued by the lab vide no. W20230324-037-056 dated 29/03/2023, the concentrations of various parameters i.e. pH= 6.92, COD=80 mg/l, BOD=10 mg/l, TSS=18 mg/l, TDS=432 mg/l and O&G=ND are found within the prescribed limits of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">4. The hotel has installed 02 no. D.G. sets of capacity 500 KVA (each), which are fitted with canopies.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is further intimated that the hotel is complying with the conditions of consents granted earlier under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The hotel falls in Red category in large-scale sector and competency to decide the case lies with Worthy Chairman of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that t</span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 12pt;">he consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the hotel up to 31/03/2027 with suitable terms & conditions along with special condition that the hotel will submit the waste water analysis report from Board’s Lab, within 02 months.</span></p> |
