<p style="text-align: justify;">The STP is under rehabilitation and the domestic effluent is being bye passed into Budha Nallah and rehabilitation is likely to be completed by 30.06.2023.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of above, it is recommended that:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. Consent to operate under Water Act 1974 may be returned to the applicant with directions:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">a) The PWSSB/ Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana shall prepare treated effluent utilization scheme with the consultation with Department of Soil and Water Conservation, Ludhiana within 03 months.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">b) The PWSSB/ Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana shall apply the consents of the Board after completion of rehabilitation, please.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. Reminder be issued to the MC, Ludhiana with copy to PS, Local Govt. to deposit EC of Rs. 46, 50,000/- as already imposed by the Board for non-achievement of effluent standards, immediately please.</p>
