<p style="text-align: justify;">The industry is a cement grinding unit and was granted consent to operate under the provision of Air Act, 1981 dated 10.05.2022 (valid upto 31.03.2023) for production of cement @ 2800 TPD (0.92 MTPA), subject to the following specific conditions: -</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The industry will operate its APCD in a scientific manner and shall achieve the environmental standards prescribed for cement plants as prescribed by MoEF & CC vide notifications dated 25.08.2014 and 09.05.2016 and its amendments, if any.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]--> The industry will not undergo any expansion without obtaining prior approval of the Board.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> Also, it was desired by the Competent Authority that Senior Environmental Engineer, Zonal Office, Bathinda shall carry out thorough technical analysis regarding achievement of emission standards by the industry and submit report/recommendation for further action.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> Accordingly, the industry was visited by the Senior Environmental Engineer, ZO, Bathinda alongwith Environmental Engineer, RO & ZO, Bathinda & AEE, RO, Bathinda on 18.03.2023 and the detailed report the same is attached herewith.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> In view of the report, if approved, consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 be granted to the industry upto 31.03.2024, subject to the following special conditions:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The industry shall not store its raw material outside in open to prevent the same from being air borne.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->The industry shall submit record regarding replacement/maintenance of PTFE membrane lamination bags to the Regional Office, Bathinda of the Board on monthly basis.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. <!--[endif]-->The industry shall improve its house-keeping.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4. <!--[endif]-->The industry shall ensure to replace the curtains provided in the clinker & gypsum handling area and shall further ensure to maintain the same on regular basis.</p>
