<p style="text-align: justify;">It is submitted that the reply of your observations has been submitted by the Regional Office.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">May if approved, it is recommended that:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">a) Decision regarding sealing of 63 % sealing of dyeing machinery of the industry be re-viewed.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">b) Consent to operate Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry temporarily for one year for discharge of effluent @ 320 KLD (TE @ 319.2 KLD & DE @ 0.8 KLD) into CETP 50 MLD with production of dyeing of polyester of fabric @ 10.5 TPD OR dyeing of cotton PC @ 4.2 TPD as an interim arrangements so as to check the discharges from Members industries and the efficiency of the CETP subject to conditions mentioned vide note dated 16.02.2023 and additions conditions:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. Shares of CETP are yet to be "Demat" through Registrar of Companies (ROC). As such, legal sanctity of these shares allocated by the Punjab Dyers Association (PDA) to the industry is yet to establish as per the guidelines issued by Securities and Exchange Board of India under the Company Laws. The industry will get its Demat from ROC, within 2 months, positively.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. As such, the production/ effluent discharge in this consent is subject to the final allotment as described at "1" above. Therefore, in case of variation of shares at the final settlement by the PDA / approval by PPCB /Demat by ROC, the industry is bound to follow the production/ effluent discharge from their unit accordingly and shall obtain revised consents with modified figures of production and effluent discharge as per the final share allotment.</p>
