CTOW/Renewal/GRP/2018/7087223 & CTOA/Renewal/GRP/ 2018/7086711 dated 04/04/2018 & 03/04/2018, which are valid upto 31/03/2023 for the production of Sugar @ 200Metric Tonnes/Day by using Sugar Cane @ 2000 Metric Tonnes/Day, Lime @ 3.6 Metric Tonnes/Day, Sulphur @ 1.3 Metric Tonnes/Day & Magna Flog @ 0.002 Metric Tonnes/Day. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> Now the industry has applied for obtaining renewal consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the production of Sugar @ 200Metric Tonnes/Day by using Sugar Cane @ 2000 Metric Tonnes/Day, Lime @ 3.6 Metric Tonnes/Day, Sulphur @ 1.3 Metric Tonnes/Day & Magna Flog @ 0.002 Metric Tonnes/Day through OCMMS in a totally paperless manner by uploading necessary documents as PDF.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> The Industry has deposited Rs. 49,200/- vide UTR No. SBIN223086355832 dated 27/03/2023 & Rs. 49,200/- vide UTR No. SBIN223086355529 dated 27/03/2023 consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 including Rs. 10,800/- vide UTR No. 907889787 dated 07/04/2023, which is adequate upto 31/03/2024. The industry was visited by AEE of this office on 10/04/2023 and observed as under:- </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> It is intimated that the industry is a Sugar Mill unit and falls under Red Category and Large Scale industry. The industry has been granted consent to operate of the Board under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide online reference no. CTOW/Renewal/GRP/2018/7087223 & CTOA/Renewal/GRP/2018/7086711 dated 04/04/2018 & 03/04/2018, which are valid upto 31/03/2023 respectively. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> The industry was visited by the officers of the Board on 12/01/2023 and it was observed as under:- </span></p>

ETP was in operation during visit. </span></p>

As per analysis report the concentration of various parameters (pH-7.8, TSS-46 mg/l, TDS-1088 mg/l, COD-216mg/l, BOD-78 mg/l & O & G-BDL) were within prescribed limits. OCEMS is installed which was online.</span></p>

In this period working days were 48. As such average discharge was 36975-33911/48=63.8 KLD, which is within the consented discharge of 300 KLD. </span></p>

Plantation in about 3 acres is in nascent stage. </span></p>

One 20 TPH boilers is for standby purpose. Wet scrubber is installed as APCD with all the boilers. Platform and ladder is provided with both the stacks.</span></p>

Stack emission sampling was conducted which were sent to Head Office Lab, Patiala and as per analysis report SPM (128 mg/NM3) was within prescribed limits. </span></p>

Working days in this period = 48. Thus average cane crushed per day = 89490/48= 1864 TPD, which is within the consented capacity of 2000 TPD. </span></p>

As per record 7330 tonnes of molasses was in store which includes molasses generated in previous season. In current season, 3930 tonnes of molasses has been generated till date of visit. Cooling mechanism is provided with all the tanks. </span></p>

New ETP is also under construction. The representative informed that it will be ready around March-2023 after which old plant will be dismantled.</span></p>

D.G. set of capacity 380 KVA which is provided with canopy.</span></span></p>
