<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 18px; text-align: justify; text-indent: -24px; background-color: #ffffff;">The industry is large scale red category dyeing unit and has applied for renewal of consent under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981. As per agenda note the industry was visited by officer of the Board on 31.03.2023 and effluent sample from the final outlet of common ETP-cum-STP as well as ground water samples were collected during visit and the results of the same are awaited. </span><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 18px; text-indent: -24px; background-color: #ffffff;">Further the unit has not deposited EC of Rs 10 lacs till date to the Board and </span><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 18px; text-indent: -24px; background-color: #ffffff;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 18px; text-indent: -24px; background-color: #ffffff;">submitted a representation before the Chairman of the Board vide letter dt 6.3.2023 to reconsider it.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 18px; text-align: justify; text-indent: -24px; background-color: #ffffff;"> As such, the cases be returned to RO w.r.t comment on the representation given by the industry for reconsidering the decision, process the consent cases alongwith recommendations after incorporating the analysis results please. </span></p> |
