The industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has Rs. 205000/- (Including Rs. 25000/- as VDS fee)<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Vide R/No. 533288719 dated 17.03.2023 under Water Act 1974 and Rs. 223500/- Vide R/No. 113322699 dated 17.03.2023 (Including Rs. 18000/- as NOC fee, Rs. 25000/- as VDS fee and Rs. 500/- as application form fee) Vide R/No. 113322699 dated 17.03.2023 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.06.2028.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.95pt; line-height: 150%; margin: .1pt 5.25pt .0001pt 5.6pt;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 150%;">The industry was visited by officer of this office 12.04.2023 and during visit it was observed that the industry was in operation and is engaged in the manufacturing of Hawai Chapples and Straps. The industry has<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>installed 1 no. wood fired boiler of capacity 03 TPH with cyclone as APCD along with stack of adequate height. The industry has installed 02 nos D.G sets of capacity 500 KVA and 250 KVA with canopies and attached to stack of adequate height. There is no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank. Entire cooling water is being re-circulated.<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> The industry has submitted area classification certificate from Municipal Council, Alawalpur vide letter no. 685 dated 09.06.2021 according to which the site of the industry falls in Special Industrial Zone as per Master Plan 2009-2031. </span>The industry has submitted approved building plan from competent person under Factory Act, Punjab.<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span></span></p>
