<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The unit is a hospital of 100 bed capacity and the hospital was earlier granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 both valid upto 30.03.2023.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Now, the hospital has applied for renewal of consents through OCMMS of the Board for 100 beds.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As per agenda note the hospital was visited by officer on 03.04.2024 and it was observed that the hospital is having bed capacity of 100 as per certificate submitted by the hospital. The Bio-Medical Waste is being lifted by CBWTF and the HCF has maintained the record of the same as the HCF has submitted the manifest slips. From the record, it is clear that the hospital is regularly lifting its Bio-Medical waste lifted to CBWTF. The hospital has installed 3 no. DG set of capacity 500 KVA, 250 KVA and 125 KVAwith canopies and adequate stack height. The hospital has also installed ETP for treatment of its liquid waste. The hospital has submitted MOU signed with M/s Meridian Milieu, Ltd, Bir Pind, Jalandhar for treatment and disposal of its Bio-Medical Waste valid upto 27.12.2025 for 100 beds. The hospital has already submitted approved building plan from Municipal Corporation Jalandhar.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Keeping in view of report of RO, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water Act 1974 may be granted to the hospital upto 31.03.2024 with usual terms and special conditions that:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 49.65pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">9)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The hospital shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocal or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises.</span></p>
