<p style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif; color: black;">It is submitted that the application of the industry has been scrutinized and it was observed that the industry had obtained Consent to establish (NOC) of the Board vide no. NOC/SGR/95-96/ 29 dated 30.08.1995 valid upto 30.08.1996 for establishment of Cold Storage unit for storage of<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>40000 bags in its premises with suitable conditions mentioned therein. However, the industry has not obtained Consent to operate (CTO) of the Board under the Water Act,1974 and the Air Act,1981.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif; color: black;">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining CTO of the Board through OCMMS on dated 18/03/2023 and has deposited the fee under the Water Act,1974 and the Air Act,1981 in Voluntarily Disclosure Scheme(VDS). </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif; color: black;">In pursual of the VDS scheme it was observed that the benefits of the VDS will be given to the industry which have never obtained CTO of the Board. However, the industry is already existing identified unit and had obtained NOC of the Board.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif; color: black;">In view of the above, the case may be sent to the Competent Authority of the Board for taking clarification whether this unit is covered under VDS scheme or not. So that the case may be processed further. </span></p> |
