<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">It is submitted that the industry was earlier granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no CTOW/Renewal/RPN/2021/15376388 and CTOA/Renewal/RPN/2021/15376356 respectively, both dated <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>25/05/2021 and valid upto <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>30/06/2025, for the manufacturing <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>of Ferrous Sulphate @ 1.2 Metric Tonne/Day and Trace Minerals @ 250 Kg/day. The industry was also granted NOC for expansion vide no CTE/Exp/RPN/2022/16759769 Dated 29/04/2022 valid upto <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>28/04/2023 for manufacturing for Ferrous Sulphate @ 1.2 Metric Tonnes/Day Trace Minerals @ 250 Kgs/day Copper Sulphate @ 2.0 Metric Tonnes/Day.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Now the industry has the applied for obtaining varied consent to operate under the both Act for for manufacturing for Ferrous Sulphate @ 1.2 Metric Tonnes/Day Trace Minerals @ 250 Kgs/day Copper Sulphate @ 2.0 Metric Tonnes/Day.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="color: #5d5d5d;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">As per note of AEE/Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, Rupnagar the industry is complying with the provisions of Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 ,may if approved the varied consent be granted to the industry under the Water Act, 1974 upto 30.09.2026, with suitable conditions please.</span></p>
