<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; tab-stops: 32.55pt; margin: 0cm 3.25pt 6.0pt 0cm;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">It is submitted that the subject cited poultry farm was granted consent to establish (NOC) under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Fresh/PTA/2019/9968742 dated 09.05.2019, valid upto 08.05.2020 for production of Eggs @ 39041 Nos./Day by using Birds @ 50000 Numbers/Day Poultry Feed, Makki, Soyabean etc. @ 6.8 T/day with the suitable conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">Now, the poultry farm has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 alongwith requisite documents. The poultry farm has deposited Rs. 16200/- vide no. 646467435 dated 29.03.2023 as water consent fee and Rs. 16200/- vide UTR No. 672495732 dated 29.03.2023 as air consent fee, which is adequate upto 28.02.2025 against the fixed assets of Rs. 517.31 lakh as on 25.03.2023 as per CA certificate dated 29.03.2023. The poultry has also deposited Rs. 10800/- vide UTR no. 898148329 dated 28.03.2023 as NOC regularization fee, which is adequate. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; tab-stops: 67.0pt 121.7pt; margin: 0cm 3.75pt 6.0pt 0cm;"><span lang="EN-US">Accordingly, the poultry farm was visited by the undersigned on 10.04.2023 and contacted Sh. Mahipal Singh, Partner of the industry. During visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0cm 3.75pt 6.0pt 21.3pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US">The poultry farm was in operation.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0cm 3.75pt 6.0pt 21.3pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US">The birds droppings are being collected at the ground level on a lined floor. During visit, the scrapper installed by the poultry farm have been got operated and all were found in operation.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0cm 3.75pt 6.0pt 21.3pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US">A set of mechanical scrapping system of compartment is further connected to a common conveyor belt for carrying the dropping out-side the poultry shed and further loading in a tractor-trolley.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0cm 3.75pt 6.0pt 21.3pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US">The poultry farm is installed mechanical scrapping system is operated twice in a day i.e. in the morning and evening to collect the bird droppings.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0cm 3.75pt 6.0pt 21.3pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US">The poultry farm is disposing of birds droppings on daily basis to nearby farmers.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0cm 3.75pt 6.0pt 21.3pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US">The poultry farm has installed a poultry feed mill in its premises and same was found in operation. The industry has already installed cyclone as APCD to control fugitive emissions generated from its process.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0cm 3.75pt 6.0pt 21.3pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US">The poultry farm has provided septic tank for the treatment of waste water generated from toilets and washrooms. The treated domestic effluent is being discharged onto land for plantation/irrigation after passing through septic tank.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0cm 3.75pt 6.0pt 21.3pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">8.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US">The poultry farm has already constructed pit for the burial of dead birds. The representative informed that lime and salt are being used regularly for the decomposition of the dead birds in the pit and stack of height about 8 feet has been provided with the pit.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0cm 3.75pt 6.0pt 21.3pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">9.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US">The poultry farm had constructed one brick lined and cement plastered underground tank for the storage of flushing water from the water pipelines used to supply drinking water to the birds. In this regard, the representative informed that the water stored in the tank will be used for irrigation purpose in the plantation area developed for the purpose.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -21.3pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0cm 3.75pt 6.0pt 21.3pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">10.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US">The poultry farm has constructed compost pits for the disposal of organic matter like eggs, bird droppings and<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>dead birds.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">In view of the above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and under the Air Act, 1981 may be granted<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>to the poultry farm upto 31.12.2024 for operation of poultry farm, subject to the usual conditions as per the policy of the Board and following additional conditions ;-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US">1<span style="mso-font-width: 115%;">.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The poultry farm shall start composting/vermi-composting of organic waste like eggs, dead birds, bird droppings etc. within 15 days and shall submit the compliance to the Board, thereafter. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-font-width: 115%;">2. The poultry farm shall continue to comply with the Environmental Guidelines issued by the Board for management and handling of bird droppings all the times and shall ensure that there will be no generation of flies and odor problem form the operations of the poultry farm.</span></p> |
