CTOW/Fresh/LDH2/2016/4549054 dated 12/10/2016 expired on 30/06/2021. Thereafter, the industry had applied for renewal of consent<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>to operate under Water Act, 1974 however the same was refused mainly due to non-maintenance of proper record of water consumption and effluent lifting.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Now, the industry has again applied for renewal of ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 alongwith requisite documents alongwith a written request stating that the industry is a tiny unit which is engaged in job work only and is only sole bread winner of the firm. He has further requested to grant consent on considering lenient view.</span></p>
