<p style="text-align: justify;">It is intimated that (1) SCN for refusal of renewal of CTO applied under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 and (2) notice to issue directions u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 has been issued to project proponent vide Board's letter no. 2546-47 dated 13/4/2023 alongwith an opportunity of personal hearing before the CEE (P) of the Board on 27/4/2023 <strong>(copy enclosed). It is requested to get the copy of the notice delivered to the project proponent through special messenger and send the receipt of the same to this office and also ensure its presence on the said date and time of hearing. It is also requested to give his comments on the reply to be submitted by the project proponent w.r.t notice and <span style="text-decoration: underline;">also requested to send rough calculation/ proposed estimate of environmental compensation shall be brought separately during the hearing w.r.t violation/ damage caused to the environment as well as capacity/ financial status of the project and </span>send fresh recommendation accordingly, well before the date of hearing so as to enable this office to decide the application.</strong></p> |
