It is intimate that the industry is not segregating its Low & High COD effluent. The industry does make fabricated the water balance record to check the performance of the MEE., MEE was not in operation , RO has reported that the industry is maintaining the record in the form of water received from plants, wastewater taken for treatment, Treated water, Treatment water sent to boiler & cooling tower but no basis how this record is being made is there as no water metering has been done on these lines. The industry is not complying with the condition framed by Such a type of unit.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">that Further, the representative of the industry was requested during the hearing dated 21/2/23 for the time of one month to comply with the observations made during the visit to the industry on 22/12/2022.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">But the industry has not made compliance with the hearing decision as per verification done on dated 28/3/23.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">If approved SCN for refusal CTO under the Water Act,1974, as well as SCN for non-compliance with hearing decision 21/2/23, may be issued to the industry with an opportunity before the Chairman sir</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;">.EE, RO may also be requested to a rough calculation/ proposed estimate of environmental clearance shall be brought separately during the hearing by RO w.r.t violation/ damage caused to the environment as well as capacity/ financial status of the project.</span></p>
