<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent was granted Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2022/19374324 </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">dated </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">03/08/2022 valid upto 31/03/2023 </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2022/17868540 </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">dated </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">17/02/2022 valid upto 28/02/2023 </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">for the operation of commercial mall, with suitable conditions and additional conditions that:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent, alongwith mechanical composter, may also develop the manual composting / vermi composting to manage organic wastes.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent will ensure that it operate the STP regularly and efficiently. Further, it will maintain proper record of disposal of treated effluent in the log book.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent shall use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) within its premises and will not use any SUP items banned in accordance with MoEF&CC notification no. G.S.R. 571(E) dated 12.08.2021 .</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent will get the validity of Hazardous & Other Wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 extended.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Now, the project proponent has applied for renewal of Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with requisite documents.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has submitted CA Certificate with the value of fixed assets of Rs. 698 crore as on 31.03.2022., which is remain same. The project proponent has deposited Rs. 564000/- vide online UTR no. SCBLH23046810047 dated 15/02/2023 (linked with App. ID. 21263919) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, which is adequate upto 31.03.2024 and Rs. 564000/- vide online UTR n. SCBLH23046810048 dated 15/02/2023 (linked with App. ID. 21262478) under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The consent fee is adequate upto 25/01/2024 under Air Act, 1981 Acts after adjustment of late fees @ 56400/-.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The effluent sample was collected on 10/04/2023 by the officer of the Board from outlet of STP and the samples were sent to Board’s lab for analysis and results are awaited. However, the treated water sample quality was good. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project was visited by under-signed on 10/04/2023 and contacted Sh. Deepak Bharti, (9876167557). During visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The Project Site is a shopping mall cum multiplex and have constructed 2B+G+3 floors building and having 220 shops and 1 multiplex.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has setup STP, fire safety storage tank and car parking in basement- B2. The project proponent has setup car parking and storage area in Basement-B1.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has setup shops cum retail outlet at upper ground floor and 1<sup>st</sup> floor.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has set up food court/ restaurant/ cinema hall at 2<sup>nd</sup> floor.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> The project proponent has provided 2 no. borewell for extraction of fresh water and provided water meter on it.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The Project has installed STP of 600 KLD capacity on MBBR Technology followed by ultra-violet rays treatment for the treatment of wastewater generated from food court, general toilets etc. The STP was in operation during visit. The project proponent has provided water meter on flushing, cooling and gardening line and reading was noted as 33669.397 m3, 96089 m3, 101664.373 m3 respectively. But cooling water line water meter was not working condition. The inlet line of effluent water meter was no in working condition.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">7.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent is using entire treated effluent into the gardening area @ 9000 sqmtr, flushing and cooling tower.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">8.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has installed 08 DG set of capacity i.e. 8x1500 KVA and all the DG sets are placed in acoustic type enclosure room and also provided adequate stack heights.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">9.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project proponent has installed 02 composter and both are in working condition. The project proponent has provided rack and manure is being stored in plastic trays . Photographs are attached with agenda note.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">From the above, it is clear that the project proponent is complying with the previous consent conditions granted to it under both the Acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">In view of above, it is recommended that:</span></p>
