<p>It is submitted that earlier application of the Railway Station was returned as it has been wrongly applied under green category. However, the project falls under orange category (Type code-2089) as STP of capacity 25 KLD has been proposed. The authorities were requested to apply for obtaining 'consents to operate' under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 under orange category for all the activities come under the definition of "Railways", after ensuring compliance of the decisions of the personal hearing held before the Chairman of the Board on 28.10.2022.</p>

<p>Thereafter, the Railway authorities had applied for CTO for railway station only under green category. The authorities had informed that Present discharge is less than 10 kld. However, CTO had not been applied for premises other than Station. Accordingly application was returned.</p>

<p>Now, the Railway Station has submitted application under green category for railway station. Railway station has informed that the railway is continuously applying for CTO of Water and Air for FZR Railway Station only, as per guideline of NGT under Green category, but PPCB pressing for apply for complete FZR cantt Area Which is not fissile for Railway Authority because at least STP of 1 MLD is Required for the same, Which have cost more than 1 crore. Due to Covid pandemic there is a finance crisis in the Railway and in first phase Railway is installing the STP of capacity 30KLD to meet the Requirement of FZR Railway Station. Hence, it is again requested to you Kindly arrange to issue CTO of Air & Water for FZR Railway Station only. </p>
<p>The authorities has not submitted fixed assets certificate as on 31.03.2023.</p>
