<p style="text-align: justify;">EE, RO, FGS has clarified that <span style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">the industry has applied for renewal of CTOs as Medium scale unit, keeping the previous nomenclature of MSME in view. But, as per prevailing notification of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises isssued vide notification dated 01.06.2020, it is a small scale enterprise currently, wherein the investment in plant and machinery or equipment does not exceed ten crore rupess and turnover does not exceed fifty crore rupess. This notification w.r.t revised scale of enterprises has not been adopted by PPCB, as competency to decide applications has not been revised accordingly. </span></p>
