<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">The project proponent has applied for fresh Consent to Establish under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Wire Drawing with Pickling @ 5 MTD & Wire Drawing without Pickling @ 7 MTD using MS wire Rod @ 12.25 MTD, Wire drawing powder @ 3 Kgs/day & Sulphuric acid @ 40 Ltr/day as raw material along with requisite documents.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">The project proponent has submitted brief project report with the value of proposed cost of Rs. 3.25 crore. The project proponent has deposited Rs. 14,900/- Vide R no. 225173677 dated 13.04.2023 as NOC fees. The NOC fees is adequate for 1 year.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">The industry has submitted a copy of letter issued by Department of Town & Country Planning Punjab vide memo no. 494 dated 31.03.2023 in the name of M/s Gupta Steel Industry regarding Classification of land / land Suitability of the site as per which khasra no. 39/3(1-10-18) falls under FEZ zone. As such, the site is suitable for establishment of the unit.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">The project proponent has submitted brief project report.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Liquid Effluent</strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: normal;">There will be generation of Trade effluent from the process of pickling which will be around 0.2 KLD and for the treatment and disposal of this trade effluent we will sign an agreement with M/s Bantech Water Pvt. Ltd. (CETP), Chanalon for 5KL/Month. Hence, no effluent treatment plant is required at our end.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Domestic Effluent :</strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">The domestic effluent being generated will be around 0.3 KLD. The same will be discharged onto land for plantation.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">In view of above, it is recommended that ‘consent to establish’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted till 12.04.2024 subject to special condition:</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">1) The industry will make adequate arrangement of storage of effluent before lifting to CETP operator,</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">2) The industry will obtain Consent to Operate of the Board under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 before starting operation.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">3. The industry will provide septic tank for the treatment of domestic effluent and will dispose off the same onto land for plantation.</p>
