<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">1.The industry was not in operation during visit, however, the industry has been commissioned .</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">2. The industry had provided Wet scrubber as APCD to contain the emissions generated from reaction vessels and liquid/ granules formation by providing hood arrangements. However, the industry has not provided hood alongwith stack of adequate height and sampling arrangement with APCD.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">3. The industry has provided 2 no. of sections for manufacturing of pesticides, insecticides and fertilizers. In one section, 1) The industry is using raw material in the form of paste and 2nd section, the raw material is being used in the form of powder. However, the industry has not provided any suction arrangements alongwith APCD above the mixing point of raw material which will be harmful for the workers.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">3. The industry has provided 2 nos. solar evaporation tanks of size 5x4x1 feet at the top of building with provision for covering during the rain to avoid the entry of rain water in the tank. The solar evaporation system seems adequate and is provided in such type of industry in the region.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">4. Domestic effluent generated from the toilet section is treated in septic tank before the disposal into focal point sewer.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">5. The industry has also provided one no. RO system for the manufacturing of various products as RO water is being used in the process. However, the RO reject is being directly discharged into ground through rain water harvesting pits constructed in the settling tanks. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">From above, it is clear that the industry is not complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d;">In view of above, it is recommended that the applications of the industry may be returned with a note that the industry shall remove all the shortcomings within 7 days and then reapply for obtaining consent to operate thereafter. </span></p> |
