<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 86%; margin: 0in 3.25pt .0001pt 2.95pt;">Now the industry has again applied for Consent to establish under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of COPPER WIRE RODS OF DIFFEREN T SECTIONS (8-20MM) @4950 MTA.</p>

<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 86%; margin: 0in 3.25pt .0001pt 2.95pt;">The industry has submitted Site plan/Layout plan, Project report<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>mentioning Manufacturing process and total cost of project as Rs<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>12 crores of which Rs 6.55 crore will be used for Plant and<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>Machinery, Feasibility report of APCD, Partnership deed, Land<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>Registered deed and CLU of the said land for use for Industrial<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>Purpose. The documents submitted by the industry may kindly be<span style="letter-spacing: -2.95pt;"> </span>perused. As the CLU of the land has been granted for industrial<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>purpose, the site is suitable for setting up of Copper smelting unit.<span style="letter-spacing: -2.95pt;"> </span>There are no industry-specific siting guidelines for such types of<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>units.</p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 86%; margin: 0in 3.25pt .0001pt 2.95pt;"> </p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 86%; margin: 0in 2.05pt .0001pt 2.95pt;">The project proponent has proposed to install two number PNG<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>fired reverberator furnaces (01 standby) and two number PNG<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>fired pit furnaces (01 standby) with stack height of 30m above<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>Ground level and wet scrubber as APCD. The APCD proposed by<span style="letter-spacing: -2.95pt;"> </span>the industry is adequate in-principle. The industry has also<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>proposed to install DG Set of capacity 250 KVA with canopy and<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>adequate stack height.</p>

<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 86%; margin: 0in 3.1pt .0001pt 2.95pt;">The industry has also proposed to dispose of Hazardous waste<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>category 12.7 (Copper etching residues) @ 2.8TPA and Cat 35.1<span style="letter-spacing: -2.95pt;"> </span>(Exhaust Air or Gas cleaning residue) @ 0.3 TPA to TSDF,<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>Nimbua.</p>

<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 86%; margin: 0in 2.05pt .0001pt 2.95pt;">No trade effluent will be generated from the industry and domestic effluent will be disposed off onto land for plantation after septic tank. The copper Ash generated from the industry will be partialy pulverized and will partially disposed of to Registered recycler.</p>

<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 86%; margin: 0in 2.05pt .0001pt 2.95pt;">In view of above, if approved, Consent to Establish under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>granted to the industry for one year period subject to suitable<span style="letter-spacing: -3.0pt;"> </span>conditions, please.</p>
