<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">It is submitted that the industry consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 were granted to the industry vide nos. CTOW/Renewal/FDK/2022/20371710 & CTOA/Renewal/FDK/2022/20371701 dated 27.12.2022 for production of CI Casting @ 300 Kg/heat or 90 Ton/month valid for a period upto 30.09.2023, respectively with suitable conditions along with specific condition as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">1. <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry will get its Air Pollution Control Device (APCD) along with its collection system evaluated from Punjab State Council for Science & Technology, Chandigarh regarding its efficacy, along with the side hood design, within one month. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">2. <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry shall implement the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) prepared by Punjab State Council for Science & Technology for APCD in to so as to achieve the prescribed standards on a regular basis.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981, detail of case is as under:</span></p>

The industry has deposited consent fee of Rs. 49,200/- vide UTR / Ref. No. N259222122956637 dated 16.09.2022 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 49,200/- vide UTR / Ref. No. N259222122939937 dated 16.09.2022 under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.06.2028 under both the Acts. Further, the industry has also deposited NOC regularization fee of Rs. 5600/- vide UTR / Ref. No. N259222122957240 dated 16.09.2022, which is adequate.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for a period upto 30.09.2027 under orange category for manufacturing of C.I castings @ 300 Kg/heat or 90 T/month, subject to the suitable conditions along with specific condition that the industry shall always comply with Standard Operating Procedure.</span></p> |
