<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Kindly peruse the agenda note attached by AEE. The industry was earlier a rolling mill and has obtained NOC for expansion vide no. CTE/Exp/FGS/2020/12654682 dated 15/06/2020 valid upto 14/01/2021 for installation of <span style="font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px;"> </span><span style="font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; float: none; word-spacing: 0px;">induction furnace of capacity 7 TPH & CCM Plant.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining varied 'consent to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Round, Bars, Flats etc) @ 18 TPH and Ingots, Billets@ 84 MTD, after installing induction furnace of capacity 7 TPH & CCM Plant with requisite documents and consents fee.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"> <span style="font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px;">It is further informed that the industry has installed induction furnace of 7 TPH capacity followed by CCM Plant and rolling mill and has obtained certificate from PSCST, Chandigarh vide no. 225 dated 29/06/2022, in which it is mentioned that the certificate is being issued to get consent to operate and completion certificate will be issued after checking the performance of APCD. The industry is also operating its old coal fired reverberatory furnace, for which it has already installed multicyclone followed by wet scrubber as APCD with adequate stack height.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">It is therefore recommended that varied 'consent to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for production of Round, Bars, Flats etc) @ 18 TPH or Ingots, Billets@ 84 MTD be granted to the industry upto 31/12/2023 with suitable conditions and special conditions mentioned in the note of AEE.</p>
