<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 19.2px;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 120%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Earlier, the hospital was granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control<span style="color: red;"> </span>of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 120%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">CTOA/Renewal/ASR/2022/18288648 </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 120%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">dated 26/04/2022 up to dated 31/03/2023 and under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/ASR/2022/18288887 dated 26/04/2022 up to dated 31/03/2023 </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 120%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">(for 70 Beds).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 19.2px;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 120%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span> </span>Now, the hospital has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 along with compliance of the previous granted consents, copy of Agreement with CBWTF for 70 Beds (which is valid up to 18/01/2026), Drawing of STP, Permission from MC, Amritsar for discharging treated effluent into MC sewer, Approved Building Plan, asset certificate by Competent Authority, bio-medical waste certificate and self declaration- bedded hospital etc.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 19.2px;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 120%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span> </span>It is pertinent to mention here that Board issued order vide no. CEE(HQ)F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 2/2/2016 regarding to grant of auto renewal consent to establish/consent to operate to the Orange & Green category industries.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 19.2px;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 120%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span> </span>It is further intimated that the hospital is complying with the conditions of consents granted earlier under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The hospital is having bed capacity @ 70 beds and competency to decide the case lies with Senior Environmental Engineer of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span> </span>Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that t</span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 12pt;">he consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the hospital for 30/09/2023 </span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 12pt;">with suitable terms & conditions along with special conditions that:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; padding-left: 40px;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span>1.<span style="font-variant: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">The HCF will submit the waste water analysis report to the Board from Board’s Lab, within 02 months, where STP at terminal end is installed.</span></p>
