<p class="MsoBodyText" style="line-height: 150%; margin: .05pt 16.4pt .0001pt 27.0pt;">Earlier the industry was granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renew/LDH1/2022/18379605 dated 08.05.2022 valid upto 07.11.2022 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renew/LDH1/2022/18379729 dated 08.05.2022 valid upto 07.11.2022 for manufacturing of industrial packing material @ 300 Kg/day for short term of six months subject to suitable conditions.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: .05pt 16.4pt .0001pt 63.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry will not manufacture, stock, distribute, recycle, sell or use plastic carry bags in compliance to the Government of Punjab, Department of Local Government notification no. 5/18/2016-4lg4/ 692717/1 dated 18.02.2016.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: .05pt 16.4pt .0001pt 63.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall comply with the provisions of the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: .05pt 16.4pt .0001pt 63.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall submit a copy of the action plan endorsed by the Secretary in charge of Urban Development of the Punjab State for setting of plastic waste management system within one month.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: .05pt 16.4pt .0001pt 63.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry shall obtain registration under rule 13 of the Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016 within one month. The electric connection of the industry was also restored for short term of six months.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="line-height: 150%; margin: .05pt 16.4pt .0001pt 27.0pt;">Thereafter the industry was again granted 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renew/LDH1/2022/20162149 dated 15.11.2022 valid upto 15.05.2023 and CTOA/Renew/LDH1/2022/20162458 dated 15.11.2022 valid upto 15.05.2023 for manufacturing of industrial packing for tube & bags @ 300 Kg/day for Domestic Effluent @ 0.07KLD (into sewer) for short term period along with restoration of electric connection for six months.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="line-height: 150%; margin: .05pt 16.4pt .0001pt 27.0pt;">Now the industry has again applied for renewal ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of industrial packing material @ 300 Kg/day along with requisite documents and fees along with request for permanent restoration of electric connection.</p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-top: .15pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;">The industry has submitted CA Certificate regarding value of Fixed Assets as on 31-12-2022, Compliance report of previous Conditions. The documents submitted by the industry may kindly be perused. The industry has deposit Rs. 11000/- vide UTR no. 74709749 dated 17.03.2023 under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 1400/- vide Online UTR. No. 74709749 dated 17.03.2023 as NOC regularization fee, Rs. 500/- vide Online UTR. No. 74709749 dated 17.03.2023 as form fee, which is adequate<span style="letter-spacing: -.05pt;"> upto </span>30.06.2028</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%; margin: .05pt 16.4pt .0001pt 27.0pt;">The industry was visited by the undersigned on 20.04.2023 and observed as under:</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: .05pt 16.4pt .0001pt 103.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry was in operation during the visit.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: .05pt 16.4pt .0001pt 103.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry has installed 3 no. extruders and 3 cutting machines. The industry is using virgin granules only for manufacturing of industrial packing (plastic).No trade effluent is being generated by the industry & domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. No DG set is installed by the industry.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: .05pt 16.4pt .0001pt 103.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry has been found complying in last three visit i.e on 05.04.2022, 31.10.2022 and 20.04.2023.</p>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: 0in; line-height: 150%; margin: .05pt 16.4pt .0001pt 0in;"> In view of above, may if approved, it is recommended that the industry may be granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of industrial packing material @ 300 Kg/day upto 30.06.2028 with the permanent restoration of electric connection.</p>
