<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">It is submitted that the industry was recently granted consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Fresh/MOG/2023/20825485 dated 29.01.2023 valid upto 30.09.2027 and Air Act, 1981 vide nos. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>CTOA/Fresh/MOG/2023/20825482 dated 29.01.2023 for a period upto 31.03.2023 for production of raw rice with dryer @ 2 TPH and sorted rice @ 3 TPH, subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein alongwith that the industry will get its stack emissions samples analyzed from Board's lab within one month, positively.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> Now the industry has applied for obtaining renewal of consent under the Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS. Details of the case are as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 0in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 13.8pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry has already submitted certificate from Chartered Accountant issued dated 29.11.2022 showing gross fixed assets of Rs. 124.62 lakhs as on 31.12.2022. Accordingly, the industry has deposited Rs. 42,000/- vide UTR No. N002232271666696 dated 02.01.2023 & Rs. 42,000/- vide UTR No. N002232271657177 dated 02.01.2023 under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate for a period upto 30.09.2027 under both the Acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry was visited by undersigned (AEE) alongwith scientific staff from Board's lab on 06.02.2023 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; line-height: 13.8pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry has installed one shelling section.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; line-height: 13.8pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry has installed cyclone as APCD with the paddy cleaner of dryer section and shelling section, separately with the adequate stack height and sampling arrangement. Sample from the portable on stack after APCD was collected and sent to Board's Air Lab for analysis. As per analysis report received from Board's lab, the concentration of SPM was found to be 259 mg/NM3, which is within the prescribed standards. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; line-height: 13.8pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry has provided brick wall of adequate length with 10' height opposite husk discharge storage area and wire mesh of 5' height has been provided above the said wall, in compliance to code of practice prescribed by the Govt. vide order dated 15.10.2013.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; line-height: 13.8pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry has planted trees along its boundary wall.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; line-height: 13.8pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry has provided brick paving roads within the premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: .75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.5pt; line-height: 13.8pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; background: white;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry is being discharged only domestic effluent and same is being disposed off onto land for plantation after septic tank.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 as well as code of practice prescribed by the Govt. vide order dt. 15.10.2013.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 13.8pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Keeping in view of the above may if approved:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Renewal of consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry up to 30.09.2027 for operation of rice sheller unit for production of raw rice with dryer @ 2 TPH and sorted rice @ 3 TPH for manufacturing of sorted rice, subject to the suitable conditions.</span></p>
