<p>It is intimated that as per the DTP, kapurthala vide letter no. 838 Dated. 06.08.2015 the site of the industry falls in a "general industrial zone " as per Master Plan. The industry is an existing unit and it had already been granted CTO by the Board in past , it has now applied for obtaining the renewal of CTO under the Water Act,1974 and Air act,1981. </p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; text-indent: 96.4pt; line-height: 18.4px; margin: 0.35pt 15.35pt 0.0001pt 0in;">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2026 with suitable conditions and special conditions that: -</p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 18.4px;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 16.8667px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The consent to operate has been granted based on the documents submitted by the industry, if at any later stage the document submitted is found falls/misleading than the industry may be liable for necessary action as per Board’s policy.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 18.4px;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 16.8667px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The industry shall abide by the zoning regulations of the Master Plan in place and shall shift its unit if required as per provisions of the Master Plan</span> and <span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 16.8667px; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';"> </span>the grant of consent by the Board will not vest any right on the industry w.r.t. other stipulations by any authority or the zoning regulations of the master plan.</li>

<p class="MsoBodyText" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 18.4px; margin: 0.35pt 15.35pt 0.0001pt 0.5in;">C.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>The industry shall properly operate its air pollution control device to achieve the amended emission standards prescribed by the Board and shall get it repair regularly.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 18.4px; margin: 0.35pt 2.1pt 0.0001pt 0.5in;">D.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>The industry shall not add any manufacturing process which will generate trade effluent without obtaining prior permission from the Board. </p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 18.4px; margin: 0.35pt 2.1pt 0.0001pt 0.5in;">E.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-kerning: auto; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-feature-settings: normal; font-variation-settings: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span>The industry shall not make any expansion inside the present premises without obtaining prior permission from the Board.</p> |
