<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">The rice sheller was granted ‘Consents to Operate’ under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 for operation of Rice sheller unit with dryer section to manufacture Raw rice without dryer @ 40 TPD vide no. 3525 & 3526 dated 09.11.2001, both are valid upto 30.09.2015. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>Now, the rice sheller has applied for renewal of ‘Consents to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for operation of rice sheller unit without dryer to manufacture raw rice without dryer @ 40 TPD. The rice sheller has submitted C.A. certificate dated 28.03.2023 showing gross fixed assets value of Rs. 13.82 lacs. The industry has deposited Rs. 27,000/- vide UTR. No. 630337018 dated 28.03.2023 under the Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 27,000/- vide UTR. No. 471104487 dated 28.03.2023 under the Air Act, 1981. Consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate for period upto 30.09.2025 under both acts after deducting penalty fee of Rs. 9000/- under each Act. </span></p>

No paddy has been allotted to rice Sheller. Rice sheller is located along Ludhiana - Ferozepur National Highway in rice sheller cluster and it never found in operation in last three paddy seasons. </span></p>

The industry has provided stack of adequate height with APCD along with provisions to facilitate emission samples. There is no dryer section and no sortex machine in the rice sheller. It is only single shelling section sheler. </span></p>
