<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.45pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Earlier, the industry under the name and style M/s Mandeep and Co., Samrala-Bija Road, Village Paraudi, Ludhiana was issued directions u/s 33-A of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and u/s 31-A of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 to disconnect the supply of electricity available to the industry/ premises with immediate effect vide no. 4062-4065 dated 09.09.2022.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Thereafter, it applied for fresh consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> The site of industry was visited by officer of the Board on 25.02.2023 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>

The industry has submitted the copy of TDCO issued by PSPCL dated 31.01.2023.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.45pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">As per DTP letter the industry has been allowed on the site with condition that it fulfills the condition of PUDA Notification </span><span lang="PA" style="font-family: Raavi, 'sans-serif';">ਨੰ</span><span lang="PA" style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">PS/PSHUD/206 dated 12.11.2021(copy enclosed). Moreover, the industry has submitted certificate issued by Tehsildar, Samrala in which it is clarified that the site is at a distance of approximate 2KM from the lal lakir/phirni of the village. The site is complying with the general siting guidelines as per Tehsildar, Samrala certificate dated 24.01.2013</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.45pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">In view of the above, it is recommended as under:</span></p>
